I would like to introduce HomeAgent UK Colchester. We are a team of dedicated, hardworking, experienced, local estate agents, who have been working within the Colchester market for many years.

What Prompted Us to Create HomeAgent UK

We launched HomeAgent UK as we became increasingly frustrated with the high commissions and poor quality service on offer. Often, we would hear of vendors being ‘sold’ an inferior offer, as the pressure was on to earn the commission. Achieving a sale at any cost has taken priority over the vendor’s best interests.

Appalled and disappointed by this approach, which is partly to blame for the public’s general dislike for estate agents, we want to revolutionise the industry, and bring back pride and professionalism, and most of all re-instate trust within our industry.

Our aim is to put the client’s best interests first! We promise to give the best advice at all times, honesty and integrity being our priority. If we believe an offer is too low, we will tell you!

Our Business Philosophy

Our whole business philosophy has been developed around ‘Our Commitment to you’, which is a document detailing exactly what you can expect from us when we are instructed to sell or let your home/property. Do you need an honest valuation backed up by credible comparable evidence?

At HomeAgent UK we pride ourselves on getting the price right! So we do a lot of market research prior to our visit to your home, so we can provide you with comparable properties of those that are on the market and demonstrating how long they have been on the market for, and properties that have sold, using land registry information to indicate what price they actually sold for. However we don’t come out to your property with a preconceived price in mind, we use our skills and judgement whilst at the property to fine tune our valuation.

We will not buy your instruction by over-valuing your home/property, but rather price it correctly to fit in with your timescales, circumstances and requirements.
