Carmen is a licensed real estate agent by INCI (inci.pt) working with the Re/Max Smart agency (Mediador Imobiliário) out of Olhos D'Agua, Algarve. We focus mainly in country estates and villas located in the Algarve Hills and Albufeira County as well as with commercial properties in Silves and Lagoa counties. However, we represent selling and buying parties for all other regions of the Algarve when appropriate. For transparency, we process all our real estate transactions through our Re/Max Smart agency and submit them to the review of Lawyers or Public Notaries. Carmen herself, is a an Italian/Portuguese woman that lived 25 years in Canada and the USA. During her school years she lived in Lisbon and in the Algarve in the early 90's, giving her great knowledge of the local culture and tradition. As such, she speaks Portuguese fluently and is definitely a strong asset to have by your side when dealing with the often complicated and bureaucratic world of Portuguese real estate. After a career in consulting, she established a multimedia business in Vancouver, Canada developing marketing products for real estate agents. By using her professionalism in business and expertise in real estate, Carmen treats her customers with honesty and delivers quality service, enriching their experience and bringing a fresh, unique North American approach to the traditional style of business still practiced in the Algarve.
