ABOUT THE VILLAGE OF HVOINA
The village of Hvoina islocated in South-Central Bulgaria on the main road Plovdiv-Smolyan(55km south of Plovdiv and 45 km north of Smolyan). The village is a starting point for many tourist routes leading south to the Rozhen Peak, one of the oldest Christian monasteries in the country – the Bachkovsky Monastery(only 8 km away) the village of Momchilovtsi, Smolyan, Pamporovo, Shiroka Laka, the phenomenal rocks Chudnite Mostove (The Wonder Bridges), Chepelare. The region offers excellent conditions for ski sport, hunting and fishing, swimming and sunbathing, prophylactics and treatment. The village is surrounded by beautiful centuries old spruce and pine forests and wonderful meadows.
