Ramsey is a small market town which grew up around the ancient Abbey which was founded in 9698. The town has a busy shopping centre, health centre, primary and secondary schools and many leisure and sport facilities including an indoor swimming pool. It also enjoys two golf courses, clubhouse and bowling club, a variety of restaurants and public houses. Despite all the hustle and bustle the town retains its unique quite atmosphere. Main road and rail links are within easy motoring distances.
